Burton upon Stather village, located on the east bank of the River Trent, will have a lovely selection of gardens open - from compact cottage gardens bursting with colour, alongside historical and formal gardens, to those with fruit and vegetable plots.

Refreshments will be available at Burton upon Stather Primary School.

We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy sharing the passion of our hard working gardeners.

Burton upon Stather Open Gardens is part of the Burton in Bloom festival weekend. The weekend activities begin on Friday 22nd June with a fun Wine Tasting evening, followed by the popular Fete on the Village Green on Saturday 23rd, complete with stalls, outdoor games, refreshments and music. Proceeds from the Burton in Bloom weekend will benefit village community projects through the Burton in Bloom Committee.

Plant sales:  Garden plants will be on sale.

Cost:  3.50 adults, accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:  Open Garden maps will be available to purchase at the corner of High Street and Norfolk Avenue from 10.30am. Please look out for the Burton in Bloom banner and notices once in the village.

Directions:  Due to the Normanby Hall Country Park 10km Run starting at 10.00am, there will be some diversions in place into Burton upon Stather until 10.30am, but if you do wish to arrive early you will have the opportunity to cheer on the runners through the village.
