 approx 12 gardens opened Brompton-by-Sawdon, between Scarborough and Pickering, Yorkshire

12.00noon to 5.00pm (last tickets 4.00pm)

Penelope Keith featured Brompton-by-Sawdon in her series on "Hidden Villages" when she found out about Brompton's Sir George Cayley's invention of the flying machine.

Gardens varying from the Manor House to hidden cottages will be open and the Church will feature Wordsworth's wild flowers in honour of his marriage to Mary here.

Proceeds to our Church and our Village Hall.

Plant sales:  There will be plants for sale.

Directions:  Turn South off the A170 or North from the A64. The Village Hall is in the square below the (closed) Cayley Arms and Community Primary School.
