Sorry, but Ashington Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

2.00pm to 5.30pm

In the past, Ashington Gardening Club has held the Open Gardens event in July but several members feel their gardens are at their most beautiful in Spring so we have decided to ring the changes.

The diverse Spring gardens will display magnificent trees, shrubs and flowers. In addition, tea and cake will be available in some gardens.

Charities benefitting from this event will be the Chestnut Tree Hospice for Children and the Tuberous Sclerosis Association.

Plant sales:  Massive plant sale consisting mainly of hardy perennials at Triangles.

Cost:  5.00 which covers both days, accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:  Programmes for sale at Triangles, Mill Lane/Fairfield Road. Mill Lane runs alongside the Red Lion pub.
