Sway Open Gardens

Gardens will be open including many that have not opened before or for some years. The gardens are all different, ranging from informal and manicured formal settings to small but beautifully formed cottage gardens.
There will be a Craft Fair held in the Pavilion, Jubilee Fields, Station Road, with specially selected stalls offering a wide range of items to buy or taste and made by exhibitors particularly local to the New Forest.
Other attractions include woodturning demonstration, New Forest Big Band, Recorder Group, light lunches and refreshments with home made cakes in St. Lukes Church Rooms, electric bike hire.
Refreshments at St Lukes Church Rooms and other venues in the village. Some gardens offer picnic facilities.
Proceeds from the event will go to The Oakhaven Hospice Trust in Lymington and other organisations within Sway Village.
Plant sales: Sway Open Gardens' renowned Plant Stall will be open all day in the village centre. Plants can also be purchased at various gardens.
Cost: £6.50 for advance sales and £7.50 on the day, accompanied children free. A purchased programme permits entry to all gardens.

Directions: The village of Sway is just off the B3055, in Hampshire, close to Lymington and Brockenhurst. About 15 miles from Southampton and Bournemouth. Free parking is available, and many of the gardens are within walking distance of the village centre. Gardens on the outskirts of the village may have their own parking but there is a free regular jump on/jump off bus service. You can even "get on your bike" to tour the gardens.
