East Hendred Open Gardens
East Hendred, near Wantage, Oxfordshire
Sunday 17th June 2018
11.00am to 5.00pm
A stunning range of gardens are open, they vary in size from the traditional cottage garden to the larger more formal garden. The different styles and use of colours and planting are amazing.
The village is quite large and the gardens are spread from one end to the other so you can have an active day looking at all of the gardens or plot a much smaller route for just a few. There are steps to navigate on some gardens so disabled access can be difficult in these gardens, but there are plenty of others to see.
There are two pubs open, both serving food so there are places to grab lunch or refreshments.
Proceeds go to East Hendred Heritage Trust.
Cost: £5.00 per adult, accompanied children free.
