Middleton, near Saxmundham and Leiston, Suffolk Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June 2016 10.30am to 5.30pm
A wide variety of very different gardens will be open, some stretching down to the Minsmere or coping with Marshland, others flourishing in sandy soil. A sensory garden for children, another adapted for wheelchair access. Newly planted orchards. vegetable plots and herbaceous borders abound. A two year old garden designed to compliment a new house with strong wildlife emphasis, while enthusiasts will find a large collection of David Austin "New English" roses in another. In addition are our 'gardens in a wheelbarrow' around the village.
Three new gardens added this year never opened before - one is a former market garden with 100 year old topiary. Also for the children - "Find the Fairies".
Proceeds to Holy Trinity Church and St. Elizabeth Hospice.
Plant sales: Plant sales at various gardens.
Cost: £4.00 adults, accompanied children free.
