Chinnor, South Oxfordshire Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2019 1.00pm to 6.00pm
Interesting and varied gardens to explore, all within the village. Several newly-opened gardens this year - a very new garden on Old Kiln Estate, a small railway garden (Sunday only) and another houses a National Collection of cactus plants of the genus mammillaria. The new community orchard which is a restoration project in progress will be open with its 'Chinnor' plum tree.
Demonstrations from local artists and crafts people will take place at various gardens and places around the village. A scarecrow competition will be held in the allotments.
'Special Moments' is the theme for this year at the St. Andrew's Church Flower Festival, with cream teas available. Refreshments available at several locations.
Proceeds to Chinnor charities and community groups.
Plant sales There will be plants for sale on both days.
Cost £5.00 adults for weekend ticket, accompanied under 16s free.
