Mill End, Bradwell-on-Sea, Essex Sunday 22nd May 2016 10.00am to 6.00pm
Some very individual gardens at Mill End are all within easy walking distance of each other. The gardens cover about 5 acres in total and include shrub, flower and vegetable beds as well as lakes and woodland. The gardens range from the delightfully small to one which is over 2 acres in this hamlet of cottages.
Refreshments, toilets, plant stalls and easy car-parking are available and most areas have disabled access.
Nearby Bradwell-on-Sea is a traditional Essex village with a bird-rich riverside and coastline. The ancient Saxon chapel of St Peter's-on-the-Wall and three excellent eating places make for an enjoyable day out.
The garden owners donate all of the proceeds to the British Red Cross.
Cost: £4.00 adults, accompanied under 12s free.
