The small village of Peter Tavy and the hamlet of Cudlipptown nestle on the SW slopes of Dartmoor where the Collybrook tumbles down to meet the Tavy valley.
Residents welcome you for the second time to the opening of around a dozen private gardens. Old miners cottages, traditional farm buildings and one of three old mills form the backdrop for many of the gardens.
This is a chance to see beyond hedges and peep at some hidden gems and enjoy refreshments in the village hall.
Proceeds to Village Hall for ongoing refurbishment, with a small donation to a local organisation.
Plant sales: There will be plant sales.
Cost: £4.50 adults, accompanied children 16 and under free.
How to get event passports: Buy passport with map on the day at the Village Hall.
Directions: By car - one mile from A386, turning off by Harford Bridge campsite and following signs to village. By bicycle - Route 27 passes through the village.
