Bleasby Open Gardens
Bleasby Village, near Southwell, Nottinghamshire Sunday 9th June 2019 2.00pm to 6.00pm
A number of gardens will open, two of them being new to this event. We also hope that you will be able to enjoy an established natural meadow, and the school garden.
Whatever your gardening interests there will be something to admire - meticulously maintained smaller gardens, wild gardening (where native and self-sown plants fight for space in borders), herbaceous borders full of early summer colour, ponds, greenhouses, vegetables, fruit, wildflowers and even livestock.
The picturesque and beautiful 13th century St. Mary's church will be open where you can view the 18th century Christopher Whall window and which will be filled with the scent of summer blooms.
Why not book lunch at the Waggon and Horses pub, visit the gardens and finish your day with home made cakes at the village hall?
All proceeds to our village hall and chuch.
Plant sales Plant stall near car park. Plant creche service available.
Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied children free.
