Please note This event ran in 2017 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.
Coggeshall, Essex Sunday 4th June 2017 2.00pm to 6.00pm
This year the gardeners of Coggeshall invite you to see their gardens through artists' eyes. Throughout the afternoon you will find local artists exploring the shapes, colours and textures that make up our gardens through their paintings and drawings.
For our younger visitors there's the adventure garden to explore where you can climb high above the crowds into the treehouse, the activity garden where you can be one of our artists AND a children's trail.
For our young and not so young visitors there are the vintage cars and the model railways to admire and a chance to go back in time to the days of the printing press at Typoretum.
And what would Coggeshall Open Gardens be without one of our famous cream teas?
All proceeds to St. Peter ad Vincula church.
Plant sales: Plant stall at Wistaria House.
Cost: £5.00 adults, accompanied under 14s free.
How to get event passports: A fully illustrated guide (for each adult) may be purchased in advance from The Chapel Inn, or on the day from a stall opposite the Clocktower in Market Hill, Coggeshall and from any open garden. The guides act as your entrance ticket.
