Harlaston, Staffordshire Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2019 12.00noon to 6.00pm
Harlaston is a small ancient village on the edge of the Mease Valley three miles from the Memorial Arboretum. It is recorded in the Doomsday Book and the church tower dates back to the 14th century. Harlaston is set in open countryside and there are a number of footpaths with short circular walks around the village, the White Lion pub will also be open.
One of the gardens will have garden games, another stone painting. There will be a cake stall, tombola, brica-a-brac stall and a book stall at various locations in the village.
On Saturday there will be musical entertainment provided by the QEMS music academy band and strolling players. On Sunday (Fathers' Day) there will be a display of classic and vintage cars on the village green.
Refreshments are available at several locations - ploughmans' lunches, teas and homemade cakes, strawberries ice cream and prosecco, pizzas and crepes.
Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
Proceeds shared between the church and village charities.
Plant sales There will be plants for sale.
Cost Adults £4.00, accompanied children free.
