This event is resting for 2018 Sorry, but Thakeham Village Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Thakeham, near Storrington, West Sussex Saturday 29th July 2017 10.30am to 4.30pm
A range of gardens will be open throughout the day along The Street and Crays Lane in our chocolate box village. Just look out for the 'Thakeham Village Open Garden' sign at garden gates.
Tom Brown, Head Gardener at Parham House, will be available to give garden advice. Visit also the Flower Festival in the 100-year old parish church and the art exhibition in the school.
Refreshments and entertainment are also available. Regretfully, we must ask that dogs are not taken into the gardens.
Monies raised will be donated to the Thakeham Festival Weekend, raising money for MacMillan Nurses, St. Barnabas Hospital and St Mary's Church, Thakeham.
Plant sales: There will be a plant stall in Cumberland House garage.
