A wonderful opportunity to visit and enjoy the hidden gardens of Sowerby. The varied gardens are all within easy walking distance of Sowerby Parochial Hall where refreshments will be available. Visit the house of the real 'Mrs Pumphrey' and her pekingese Tricky-Woo, made famous in James Herriot's book All Creatures Great and Small.
Paul Laycock will be opening the pottery studio in his garden at 64 Front Street. Colin and Alison Britton will be opening the studio in their garden at 152 Front Street, exhibiting paintings, prints and cards.
Proceeds to St. Oswald's Church, Sowerby and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Plant sales Plants will be on sale at Sowerby Parochial Hall.
Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
