Please note This event ran in 2016 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.
Ewhurst, near Cranleigh, Surrey Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2016 2.00pm to 6.00pm
Once again the annual tour of Ewhurst's Secret Gardens allows visitors to enjoy gardens that are usually hidden behind fences or hedges. The first tour took place in 1995 and this year we are focusing on the slopes of Pitch Hill with a variety of magnificent gardens, some of which have outstanding views across the South Downs.
There will be a vast selection of wonderful shrubs and flowers to admire, not to mention a flock of grazing sheep, and you are assured of a friendly welcome from the garden owners.
There are two tea venues where you can enjoy refreshments and delicious cakes whilst enjoying the scenery. Maps displayed in the village will show you which gardens are open.
Proceeds are shared between the Village School, youth organisations and other village charities.
Plant sales: There will be an impressive plant stall at one of the gardens.
Cost: £6.50 which covers both days (£5.50 OAPS) with 50p discount if purchased in advance, accompanied under 14s free.
How to get event passports: Tickets are available from Hazelbank Stores in the village or at any of the gardens on the day.
