Southover, Lewes, Sussex Sunday 9th June 2019 2.00pm to 5.00pm (some gardens open to 6.00pm)
Southover's annual Open Gardens event provides a unique opportunity to visit some of Lewes' most secret hidden gardens. There will be a wide range of gardens to see, from large traditional English ones to small more modern interpretations.
Highlights include the garden hiding behind an Edwardian terrace originally laid out 100 years ago by the Martin sisters as a landscaped garden in the style of Gertrude Jekyll. It has now been restored and delicious cakes and refreshments will be served in the garden.
Proceeds to Southover Bonfire Society.
Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied kids free.
How to get event passports On the day from 6 Grange Road; from mid May at Lewes Tourist Information Centre, St. Pancras Stores, The Swan and The King's Head public houses.
