Edingale Open Gardens
Edingale, near Tamworth, Staffordshire Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 2018 12.00noon to 6.00pm
Gardens will be open with plant, ice cream and tombola stalls plus a local history garden. English Cream Teas will be on sale in the tranquil garden setting of the Old Vicarage. There will be a display of Wedding and Christening Gowns in the church.
At the village hall, we will have gift and craft stalls, refreshments of sandwiches, pies and cakes, with face painting and a bouncy castle for the children. Staffordshire Wildlife will be in attendance.
The Church Walk model railway will be running on both days, and on the village green there will be many attractions including old tractors, vintage cars and motor bikes, alongside a scale model steam traction engine and steam organ.
Our newly re-opened Black Horse Inn Bar and Grill will be serving Indian nibbles during the day, such as samosas, spring rolls, tikkis and pakoras, while hot pork baps will be served in the Church Farm Courtyard.
All proceeds will go to local charities.
Plant sales: Plant sales in one garden.
Cost: £3.50 per adult which covers both days, accompanied under 11s free.
How to get event passports: Admission is by programme purchased at the Village Hall or at various gardens.
Number of gardens: Approximately 19 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
