Barlow, near Chesterfield, Derbyshire Sunday 7th July 2019 10.00am to 5.00pm
This is our 7th year of opening gardens in the village and the gardens range from small courtyards to allotments, large rambling gardens, an old hall, cottages and gardens with walks, streams and Koi carp and trout ponds. This year also a number of new gardens not seen before, one of which has taken twelve months to prepare.
Tea, coffee and cakes on sale at the church from 12.30pm. Home made refreshments, cream teas, ice creams, soft drinks and raffles at various gardens, also an art show. Transport ferry links to most gardens. Dogs welcome on leads.
We hope all visitors enjoy their visit as much this year as they did last year - please come and see the changes.

Plant sales Plant sales available along with good planting advice.
Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied children free.
How to get event passports In advance from The Peacock, The Tickled Trout or The Hare and Hounds pubs and Hackney House Cafe in the village; on the day from the main car park next to the village hall. Arrive at the main car park and continue from there with your garden route map.

Directions From M1 junction 29 to Chesterfield go through Newbold to the B6051 Barlow. Extra parking is available this year in the village. Car park spaces doubled this year and coaches welcome (please email to book coaches in).
