Rodney Stoke and Draycott, near Cheddar, Somerset Saturday 17th June 2017 11.00am to 5.00pm
Join us as we enjoy the Open Gardens in the villages of Rodney Stoke and Draycott on the beautiful south slopes of The Mendip Hills.
Private gardens ranging from small walled and newly formed gardens to mature gardens packed with plants and larger hillside slopes with vines, bees plus a productive market garden in the heart of this strawberry growers' paradise. Many gardens have not opened to the public before. Stunning views throughout.
Some rough terrain and walking required. Off-road walk between the two villages approx 1 mile each way.
WI teas, cake stalls, Prosecco and Pimm's Cafe, plant and book stalls dotted around the route make for a thoroughly enjoyable day out for all. Well behaved children and dogs on leads welcome.
Proceeds split between Rodney Stoke and Draycott WI and The Memorial Hall, Draycott.
Plant sales Plant sale in the centre of Draycott.
Cost Adults £5.00, accompanied under 16s free.
