Stanton in Peak is a beautiful village of stone cottages on a hillside in the Peak District National Park with glorious views. It is in a Conservation Area.
The gardens are diverse and charming, and wrap around the cottages. A free taxi service will run you to the gardens at the top of the hill if you want to save some energy.
An affordable art trail will be set up in some of the gardens where local artists will have paintings, jewellery and sculptures for sale. In the church there will be craft stalls and there will be a pop-up pub in one of the gardens.
Teas and cakes will be served in some of the gardens and in the Village Hall.
Proceeds will go to the Village Hall, church and school, as well as Ashgate Hospice, Greenaway Workshop and the Ark at Ashbourne.
Plant sales Plants will be on sale on the Village Green.
Cost £4.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

Directions Stanton in Peak is 5 miles south of Bakewell. Turn off the A6 at Rowsley, or onto the B5056 and follow signs up the hills to the village.
