Yaxley and Farcet Centenary Open Gardens

Yaxley, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Saturday 16th and 17th June 2018 11.00am to 5.00pm
Commemorating 100 years since the Great War, Yaxley and Farcet are opening their gardens to raise funds for the British Legion Poppy Appeal and encourage intergenerational community engagement.
A community garden is also being built at William De Yaxley school. Each garden will be dedicated to a local war hero who is buried in the cemetary. In addition there is a fantastic program of music, theatre, culture and a history display taking place at the Yaxley British Legion Club over the weekend. Refreshments available.
Proceeds to The British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Plant sales There will be plant for sale.
Cost £5.00 for adults covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.
