North Dalton is a pretty East Yorkshire village which is holding its second Open Gardens event.
There will be a number of gardens to see including a walled garden at the local manor house, an artistic courtyard garden in an old chapel and a range of beautiful vegetable and flower gardens of all shapes and sizes. Alongside the varied gardens there will be several stalls run by villagers selling Pimm's and strawberries, second-hand books, tea, cakes and ice creams.
We will also have musicians playing around the village, including a mini organ and cello concert in our beautiful little Norman church set in the heart of North Dalton.
In the village we have a beautiful natural pond full of wildlife and a children's playground, so bring the whole family.
All proceeds will go to the North Dalton Community Playground and Orchard Fund.
Plant sales Mires Beck Nursery will have a plant stall at the village hall with lots of lovely plants to buy for your own garden.
Cost £6.00 per adult which includes a cup of tea and a cake. Accompanied under 16s free.
