This event is resting for 2021 Sorry, but Porton and Idmiston Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Porton and Idmiston, near Salisbury, Wiltshire Sunday 10th June 2018 1.00pm to 6.00pm
A variety of gardens will be open in the villages of Porton and Idmiston ranging from family-friendly gardens with greenhouses, small courtyard gardens with pots, vegetable gardens, established cottage gardens, riverside gardens and lawned gardens with ponds.
Idmiston village shows the challenges of working in sloped gardens. It also has a delightful Grade I listed historic church, built in 12th Century.
Delicious afternoon tea will be available in the Memorial Hall 2.00pm to 5.00pm.
Please note that only five gardens are suitable for wheelchairs/disabled and only five will allow dogs - all of these are in Porton village.
Proceeds to village hall funds.
Plant sales Some gardens will have a selection of plants and cuttings for sale.
Cost Adults £5.00, accompanied children free.
