Rocklands Garden Gadabout
 | Please note This event rested in 2020 and we don't have any up to date event details. When we get updated information, we'll add it here, but in the meantime we include below event information from a previous year to remind you about the event. |
Rockland All Saints and Rockland St. Peters, near Attleborough, Norfolk Sunday 18th August 2019 11.00am to 5.00pm
The gardens range from a splendid manor garden down to a more modestly-sized newly designed garden within the village itself. One of the gardens has been featured in The Norfolk Magazine, the EDP and Amateur Gardening and opened for the NGS before suffering major fire damage in 2018. There is something for everyone - fabulous vegetable gardens, wildlife gardens, arty gardens, plant lovers gardens, rusty old tools and gardens with a view.
Teas and luscious cakes will be available at the Village Hall and 'fruit cup' at one of the gardens if the sun is shining. If this is not enough, we have the world famous author and illustrator and ex (just) Children's laureate Chris Riddell, doing quick portraits of children and grown-ups for only £5 each at the village hall.
Proceeds to the upkeep of our two ancient churches.
Plant sales There will be plants for sale from Walnut Tree Garden Nursery - part of the Norfolk Nursery Network.
Cost £4.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports Passports are available from the Village Hall.
