Our tiny Suffolk village - in the middle of nowhere but only a short distance from Ipswich - is opening its gardens for the first time in four years.
As well as a range of very different gardens to visit, there will be some exciting displays and other events to keep the whole family happy. Flowton's delightful 13th century church will also host a colourful Flower Festival from 11.00am on the theme of Nursery Rhymes.
Refreshments, lunches and cream teas will be available throughout the weekend.
Proceeds will go to help maintain St Mary's Church, Flowton, and to FIND (Families in Need), our local Ipswich food and furniture bank which provides crucial support to many local families and individuals in need.
Plant sales There will be plants for sale at a couple of gardens.
Cost £5.00 for adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports Tickets can be purchased on the day from the church or from some of the gardens that will be open.
Number of gardens Approximately 11 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
Directions Flowton is signposted from the B1113 near Bramford and Sproughton to the west of Ipswich, and also from the A1071 (Ipswich, Hintlesham, Hadleigh). Easy access from Junction 54 on the A14 (Sproughton exit).
