Hemingford Abbots, Cambridgeshire Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2019 12.00noon to 6.00pm
Gardens are starting to spring into life and so are the residents of Hemingford Abbots who are already working hard organising this year’s Flower Festival.
Nestled on the banks of the River Great Ouse, Hemingford Abbots is one of the most famously picturesque villages in East Anglia. Featuring chocolate box thatched cottages this idyllic location will soon be welcoming visitors from far and wide.
A fantastic floral display in the church developed by the local Flower Guild is at the heart of the event – the theme for this Festival is 'And God Planted a Garden Eastward in Eden'.
There are plenty of gardens to be enjoyed by visitors along with cream teas, brass bands, classic cars, boat trips and vintage cycles.
Proceeds will be put towards the maintenance and restoration of St. Margaret's Church.
Plant sales There will be a plant sale.
