Whelford, near Fairford, Gloucestershire. Sorry - this 2020 event has had to be CANCELLED 1.00pm to 5.00pm
We are opening a variety of gardens in the pretty hamlet of Whelford. This is our first year opening our gardens but we are excited to share them with you all.
There will be a display of vintage cars, an artist's garden with her work on show and for sale, and a quiz for children and a prize at the end.
The beautiful church, St. Anne's, will be open with a show of flowers on display. To top it all some yarn bombing will decorate areas of the village as you meander around from garden to garden.
As well as the chance to look at the charming gardens, there will be tea and cake at the Village Hall in the centre of the hamlet. Dogs on leads welcome in some of the gardens.
Proceeds are going to the Village Hall Fund and to the Church for repairs.
Plant sales There is a plant sale selling locally grown plants.
Cost £5.00 per person.
How to get event passports Buy on the day from car park or nominated gardens.
Directions Parking will be available and signed at two locations in the village. Disabled parking will be at the village hall. People with mobility problems may need to use parking areas. This will be more clear when you have the map of the open gardens.
