Castlethorpe, near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2019 10.00am to 5.00pm
A beautiful spectrum of colour and diversity awaits you at the Open Gardens weekend in Castlethorpe as this historic village throws open its gardens for the enjoyment of visitors. There'll also be a colourful Scarecrow Trail for younger visitors to follow. And, of course, there are the remains of our motte and bailey Norman castle to explore.
Nestling in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside Castlethorpe displays all its character and historic charm at this bi-annual event which has become something of a tradition, as visitors come from near and far to experience the delights on offer over the weekend.
Stop for refreshments at the Village Hall, where morning coffee, freshly prepared Ploughman's Lunches and sandwiches and of course our melt-in-the mouth cream teas are on offer.
Our historic village church will also be open and will be offering visitors refreshments as well as those available in the village hall.
All proceeds to the area's local community first responder and village projects.
