During Burford Festival hundreds of people enjoy the charms of Burford's hidden gardens.
Today some 20 gardens will be open covering all parts of the town - there will be clear car parking signs around the town and guide maps indicating open gardens and garden tea venues. Please note that in some gardens dogs may not be permitted.
On Saturday at 5.30pm, Mary Keen presents 'Gardening Thoughts'. Mary Keen, renowned gardening sage based in the Cotswolds, sharing her thoughts on planning, planting and prudence in the garden. Tickets £10 in advance (see link below) or on the door. Venue will be indicated on garden maps.
Proceeds go to the the self funding Burford Festival charity and to local charities and projects.
Plant sales: Specialist plant nurseries will be selling in one of the larger gardens.
Cost: Adults £5.00, under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Buy a passport on the day from the 1st garden visited.
