Bakewell, between Buxton and Matlock, Derbyshire Sunday 25th August 2019 1.30pm to 5.30pm
The gardens are varied in size and character with interesting plant collections and often with stunning views. Some of the gardens have steep slopes and steps.
This year the open gardens are in the Yeld Road/ Monyash Road area of Bakewell. Following the garden trail will take visitors into nooks and crannies of Bakewell normally hidden from public view. The trail begins near the centre of Bakewell. Arrows and balloons will mark the trail.
Refreshments will be served at the Parish Church. As usual there will be a delicious assortment of homemade cakes.
All money raised at this event goes to the work of Oxfam.

How to get event passports At any of the open gardens, also at an Oxfam stall in Rutland Square. Tickets contain a trail map indicating the route and the location of the gardens. There will also be signs and arrows showing the route.
