Bardwell is looking forward to welcoming visitors for another relaxing Sunday afternoon, exploring a wonderful and varied selection of village gardens.
Our gardens open this year are associated to properties from the year 1100 through to more recent times. One of the gardens featured is at The Six Bell's Inn, which was a location for the iconic Dad's Army TV comedy series.
Organised by, and proceeds to Friends of Bardwell Church, whose purpose is to raise funds for the maintenance and improvements to our fascinating mediaeval Church of St Peter and St Paul.
Plant sales: Plant sales and teas available at the Tithe Barn and various gardens.
Cost: £4.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Buy your map and printed guide at the Tithe Barn. Guide acts as your entrance ticket to all of the gardens.
