Come and enjoy what could be Norfolk's biggest garden party. Gardens showcasing a huge variety of size and style will be open around this idyllic Norfolk village. Gardens open range from Swannington Manor with its three-hundred-year-old yew hedge, to The Old Rectory and its beautiful rose gardens, to the Woodland Wander reclaimed three years ago after decades of neglect.
Cream teas, homemade cakes and ice cream are available in various gardens. Pimm's Terrace at the Manor plus craft beers, cider and kombucha from the All Day Brewing Company on the Common alongside barbecue by Swannington Farm to Fork. Cold drinks and vegetarian snacks, ice creams, tombola and displays of classic cars. More cars, mainly Triumph Stags, are displayed on Upgate Common to the south of the village centre while a collection of Morgans will be on show at the Manor.
The Play Area will host a number of children's activities as well as a range of farm machinery old and new.
Grade 1 Listed St Margaret's Church will also be open, serving homemade teas and light refreshments. Dogs on leads welcome.
All proceeds go to Swannington Play Area and St. Margaret's Church.
Plant sales Plants are also offered for sale at The Old Rectory and the fabulous Romantic Garden Nursery will also be open.
Cost £5.00 per person, accompanied under 16s free.
