Walgrave, near Northampton and Kettering, Northamptonshire Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April 2017 12.00noon - 5.00pm
Walgrave villagers in Northamptonshire have opened their gardens for the past 20 years ... and are not stopping now.
This year we are showing our gardens in high summer by popular demand. We will have several gardens open including larger established gardens, smaller cottage gardens, family gardens and vegetable gardens too showing the colourful perennials in the gardens at this time of year.
We also sell Heritage Tomato Plants which produce the most wonderful tomatoes, and this year will have additional seeds and plants for sale too. Also wonderful refreshments to sustain you - cakes and teas.
All proceeds go to the village hall fund or local charities.
Plant sales: Plants are available for sale at various points in the village during the weekend.
Cost: Tickets cost only £4.00 per person and children go free.
How to get event passports: Programmes are available on the day from central information points and also from each garden.
Number of gardens: Approximately 6 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
