Edensor Open Gardens

 approx 14 gardens open Edensor Village, Chatsworth Estate, Bakewell, Derbyshire

Many gardens will be open in the village of Edensor with the event being officially opened by Lord and Lady Burlington at 12.00noon

Our 'Focus Garden' this year will be the newly renovated Park Top house in the Village

Various stalls including bric-a-brac, cakes, competition treasure hunt for children, second hand book stall and vintage and classic cars.

Entertainment includes Powder Keg Morris Dancers, Thoresby Colliery Silver Band, Jig For A Kiss (folk group), Matthew Cook Traditional Barrel Organ and the Pilsley School choir. Wood Bodgers and Turners demonstration and Children’s Bouncy Castle.

Cream teas in St. Peter’s Church, beer tent: local ales, Pimm's bar, prosecco. Various food options.

Proceeds:  Proceeds to Diabetes UK, Blythe House Hospice and St. Peter's Churchyard Maintenance Fund. One further fund to be confirmed.

Plant sales:  Plant stall with plants from many of the open gardens and other local green fingered friends.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied 12s and under free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Buy tickets on the gate on the day. Cash and cards accepted.

Directions / Parking:  Follow directions for Chatsworth and Edensor Village is located in Chatsworth Park. Parking in designated areas outside village perimeter. Please note that cars are not permitted within the village.
