 | Please note This event ran in 2025 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event. |
Birchover, near Matlock, Derbyshire Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June 2025 1.00pm to 5.30pm

Birchover is situated on a hilltop, beneath Stanton Moor with its Nine Ladies Stone Circle.
As you walk around the village you will be warmly welcomed to view local Stone Mason Mark Eaton at work, showing his fine letter workings in stone. Mark will be happy to chat about his 40 years of experience in stone masonry, which includes repairs to many historic houses.
Paintings by Joanne Eaton will be on show, to view and purchase (local scenes, wildlife and wildflowers) .
Stalls with elderflower champagne, jewellery, crafts and a 'Birchover in Black & White' post card display will be dotted around the village in the main street or in gardens for you to enjoy.
Historically Birchover Church played a big part of the Open Gardens weekend and it will be open again this year and will include a flower display, with flowers kindly donated by local Florist, Robert Young. The church also has a set of stunning stained glass windows, designed and made in the 1970s by a young artist (Brian Clarke). Brian lived in the old vicarage next door.
