This event is resting for 2026 Sorry, but Petersham Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

The gates of some of Petersham's most beautiful and secluded private gardens will be open once again to visitors, after a four year hiatus.

We are excited to share this special Petersham community event with visitors. With gorgeous gardens on show, there is something to suit every taste.

Garden spotting is thirsty work, so teas and delicious homemade cakes will be on sale from Petersham Lodge in River Lane and there will also be a BBQ at the Ham and Petersham Sea Scouts. Ice cream will also be available on the day.

No dogs please other than assistance dogs.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to local charities - to be confirmed.

Cost:  Early Bird/advance tickets: £12.00 and £8.00 concessions from Feb until May 1st. After May 1st Regular ticket - online: £15.00 and £10 concessions. Accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Early bird/advance tickets are now on sale via our website. After May 1st regular tickets also available online.

Directions / Parking:  All gardens are within a ten minute walk from the Petersham Gate entrance to Richmond Park, opposite the Dysart Arms. Buses 65 and 371 from Richmond station serve. Directions to the gardens will be displayed throughout the village.
