Kirkby Lonsdale Open Gardens
This event is resting for 2021
Sorry, but Kirkby Lonsdale Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July 2017
10.30am to 4.30pm
Many gardens open to view in the lovely small market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, on the borders of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire, close to the famous and beautiful Ruskin's View over the River Lune.
The gardens are in the centre of town and in the neighbouring small hamlet of Biggins. They are a mixture of size and styles; some are truly 'secret' gardens, some are walled, some adjoin each other and all are interestingly planted.
Tea and coffee available from The Lunesdale Hall.
All proceeds between The Friends of St. Mary's Church and The Lunesdale Hall.
Plant sales: Plant and plant supports for sale at The Lunesdale Hall on Saturday 8th, courtesy of Brownthwaite Hardy Plants.
Cost: £5.00 per adult which covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Buy tickets (maps and directions) on the day from The Lunesdale Hall.
