Cadney and Howsham Open Gardens

Cadney and Howsham, near Brigg, North Lincolnshire

A good range of rural gardens will be open around the two neighbouring villages of Cadney and Howsham and there will be scarecrows around both villages.

There will be lots of lovely country gardens of all shapes and sizes open in both Cadney and Howsham, plus a woodland wildlife walk in Howsham.

All Saints Church, Cadney is one of the oldest churches in the area and is Grade 1 listed. It will be open to visitors and is well worth a visit. Howsham Ukes will be putting on a concert in the church - see the programme for concert times.

Fish and chips lunches will be available from award-winning The Lincolnshire Fryer, parked in the old cafe car park in Howsham. Tuckers Ice Cream will also be there during the event.

There will be some sandwiches, cakes and refreshments in Howsham Village Hall. Refreshments, sandwiches and cakes will also be available at Cadney church hall.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to local good causes including All Saints church, Cadney and Howsham Village Hall and Park, Lindsey Lodge Hospice, Lincs Air Ambulance and a local Macmillan Cancer group.

Plant sales:  There will be plants for sale.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

Directions / Parking:  Car parking is available in Howsham Park, Cadney Road, Howsham. A free minibus service will run throughout the day to take visitors between Cadney and Howsham, and visitors are encouraged to park in Howsham and take the bus to Cadney.
