Harrogate Open Gardens: Stone Rings Close
Stone Rings Close, Harrogate
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2022
12.00noon to 5.00pm
Early in the 20th century, Stone Rings was a quarry, so the topography is challenging for making gardens. Four of the gardens have steep banks running down to a beck with woodland areas.
All of the gardens open this year have had major or minor structural work done since last time, so if you have been before, you will see improvements. There are two gardens new to opening, with hard landscaping and planting done completely by the owners.
We hope to have some Platinum celebrations as we were denied the VE day ones!
Refreshments and other stalls available, along with a children's quiz.
All proceeds split evenly between The Harrogate Homeless project, which is 30 this year, and Resurrected Bites, a local charity operating pay-as-you-feel cafes, and community groceries.
Plant sales: There will be plants for sale.
Cost: £6.00 adults, accompanied under 12s free..
How to get event passports: Buy tickets at the entry garden in the Close, or at any open garden.
Number of gardens: Approximately 6 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
