Sutton on the Forest Open Gardens
Sutton on the Forest, North of York Sunday 24th and Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2026 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Our gardens are open only every two years so take this chance to visit a picturesque village and some of its best gardens. They include the beautiful and extensive gardens of Sutton Park.
You are bound to get some ideas for your plot, as well as buy some unusual plants.
Famous refreshments from 12.00noon in the village hall. Ancient church open with stained glass demonstration.
Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.
Proceeds: Proceeds to Yorkshire charities and local good causes.
Plant sales: Plant sales on the village green and at some of the gardens.
Cost: £7.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free. Your Open Gardens ticket includes free entry to the gardens of Sutton Park.
How to get tickets / programmes: Get tickets from the Club's stall in
Main Street. Cash and cards accepted.
Number of gardens: Approximately 8 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
