Standon Open Gardens

Please note This event ran in 2025 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.

Standon, Hertfordshire

11.00am to 5.00pm

A warm welcome to everyone to visit our gardens ranging from a large country house garden to cottage and patio gardens. Most gardens are within easy walking distance of the High Street.

There will be art exhibits to peruse or to purchase, live music, and a treasure hunt for children.

Lunches and teas are served in the Church, the Village Hall and two gardens.

Proceeds:  All proceeds go to the upkeep of St. Mary's Church.

Plant sales:  The plant sale will be held in a garden in the High Street and so it will be easier to transport your purchases back to your car.

Cost:  £10.00 on the day, £8.00 in advance, accompanied children free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  On the day from the Village Green near the Telephone Box; in advance from our website.

Directions / Parking:  Take the A10 junction with the A120 following the signs to Stansted Airport. There is a car park on the High Street which is the second road on the right from this junction.
