Ewhurst Secret Gardens
 | This event is resting for 2026 Sorry, but Ewhurst Secret Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event |
Ewhurst, near Cranleigh, Surrey Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025 2.00pm to 6.00pm
The Ewhurst Secret Gardens has been running for 25 years.
This year we have a varied selection of gardens location at the southern and more rural end of the village. Some are truly 'secret' as most cannot be seen from the road. There are several new gardens not previously opened and also some which have featured before and proved hugely popular. Most gardens have delightful rural views. The garden owners will be on hand to welcome you and have a chat.
We have two tea venues where you can relax over a refreshing hot or cold drink and enjoy a slice of delicious homemade cake.
No dogs in the gardens please, other than assistance dogs.
Proceeds: Proceeds are shared between the village school, and village charities benefitting the youth of the village.
Plant sales: We have our usual amazing plant stall with a wonderful variety of herbaceous plants, vegetables and herbs. Jean Griffin, a horticultural expert, will be with us on Saturday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the plant sale at Latymers. Come with your queries, plant samples for identification, or just a chat.
Cost: £7.00 which covers both days (£6.00 OAPS) with £1.00 discount if purchased in advance, accompanied under 14s free.
How to get tickets / programmes: Tickets are available from Hazelbank Country Stores in the village or at any of the gardens on the day. Maps displayed in the village will show you which gardens are open, or view the map on our website.
