Wickham Bishops, near Witham, Essex Sunday 8th June 2025 11.00am to 5.00pm
After a spectacular reopening in 2023 and a well-deserved two year break, the villagers of Wickham Bishops are opening their gardens once again, with five new gardens taking part. Additional attractions should provide something for everyone.
• Beautiful gardens, large and small
• Classic car exhibition
• BBQ
• Beer and Prosecco tent
• Lunches and afternoon teas
• Scarecrow competition
• Clog dancing by 'Alive and Kicking'
• Transport by Kia EV6 courtesy of WestDrive Kia, Braintree
• Container planting demonstration at our Village Hall.
Proceeds: All proceeds to St. Bartholomew's Church, Wickham Bishops.
Plant sales: Plant sales at the church and village hall.
Cost: £10.00 on the day, £7.50 earlybird tickets.
How to get tickets / programmes: Available on the day from St. Bart's Church, the Village Hall and participating gardens. Earlybird tickets - please purchase via our website.

Directions / Parking: From A12 (Colchester) take first Witham turnoff and turn immediately left towards Little Braxted. Follow country road for 2-3 miles, past Green Man and then take right at junction towards centre of Wickham Bishops. From A12 Chelmsford take first Witham turn off. Turn right at roundabout, right at next big roundabout, then right at junction. Go under A 12 and turn left at lights. Up hill into centre of Wickham Bishops. Convenient parking at Church Green. 10 minutes from Witham, 20 minutes from Chelmsford, 30 minutes from Colchester.
