Shiptonthorpe Open Gardens Weekend
Shiptonthorpe, between York and Hull, Yorkshire Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2026 11.00am to 5.00pm
Every two years, we open our gardens in order to raise funds for our Grade 1 village church and so please come along and enjoy the gardens.
The village is circular and approximately one mile in distance. The church is at one end of the village so step inside, rest and enjoy the beauty of this historical place of worship.
At the other end of the village is the village hall where you can stop for home baked refreshments.
Proceeds: All proceeds will go to the village church All Saints.
Cost: £7.00 adults, accompanied 16s and under free.
How to get tickets / programmes: Buy tickets on the day at the village hall, the playing fields or at Brookside (next to the pedestrian crossing).
Number of gardens: Approximately 7 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
