Long Buckby Open Gardens
This event rested in 2020 and we don't have any up to date event details. When we get updated information, we'll add it here, but in the meantime we include below event information from a previous year to remind you about the event.
Long Buckby, between Daventry and Northampton, Northamptonshire
Sunday 21st July 2019
1.00pm to 6.00pm
Gardens will open in the historic villages of Long Buckby and Long Buckby Wharf, most within easy walking distance of each other. Varying in size and style, from courtyard and canal side to cottage garden, some are established, others are evolving. They include water features, pergolas, garden structures, chickens and pigs, but the stars are definitely the plants. Bursting with colour, visitors will find old favourites and the unusual, used in a variety of ways; trees, shrubs, perennials, climbers, annuals, fruit and vegetables.
Teas available. Full or partial wheelchair access available at almost all gardens.
Proceeds to National Gardens Scheme charities, including Macmillan, Hospice UK and Carers Trust.
Plant sales: Plant sales at various gardens.
How to get event passports: Tickets available at each garden and at central information point on the day.
