Sorry, but Poyntington Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

After a very successful event in 2017, Poyntington near Sherborne is opening its gardens again including Manor Farm Vineyard and Poyntington Manor

In a delightful setting nestled in the valley below the Downs, much of the village falls within the Dorset Conservation area with a number of buildings of historical interest including All Saints Church which dates back to the 12th Century, Poyntington Manor, and the Court House from the 15th Century.

Teas will be available and a book sale is being held in the Village Hall.

Proceeds will be divided between the Village Hall and the village church.

Plant sales:  There will be plant sale at Poyntington Manor.

Cost:  6.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  Tickets available in advance from Sherborne TIC, Castle Gardens, Sherborne, and Occasions Florists, Cheap Street, Sherborne. During the weekend, buy tickets in the village.

Directions:  From Sherborne take the B3145 towards Wincanton. There are two roads leading to Poyntington, both are signposted from this road.
