Ashwell Open Gardens

Discover eleven centuries of beautiful Ashwell.
Our theme this year - Celebrating the partnership between local farming and the village.
As part of our annual Ashwell at Home event, a range of gardens will be open covering small cottage gardens to a large country house.
There will be a traditional church fete, live music, access to historic buildings, two Morris dancing groups, Street market, Arts & Craft market, Tudor dancing, a ‘Farm to Fork’ mini-festival featuring farmers-question-time, down on the farm exhibition with livestock, tractor rides, vintage car show, any many other attractions - please see our website for more information.
Refreshments available from tearooms around the village, and from a variety of street food sellers featuring locally sourced food.
Proceeds: All proceeds go to the village museum, the local school and St. Mary's Church.
Plant sales: Large plant stall at Dixie's Barns near to the car park, and some of the open gardens.
Cost: £10.00 on the day, £8.00 in advance, accompanied under 18s free.

Directions / Parking: Turn off the A1M at Baldock services, turn right towards Baldock then left following signs for Ashwell. Pass through Newnham village and then follow road to Ashwell. Free car park is on High Street on left.
