Sorry, but Marple Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 20 gardens opened Marple, Stockport, Cheshire
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2018
11.00am to 5.00pm

Marple is a small town within Stockport boundary. The gardens are spread across the town and the criteria was that they must be interesting, so there is definitely something to appeal to everyone. Small, large, gardens for children and others for grown ups. The Seven Styles allotments are also open for the event.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Cancer Research UK. All expenses are supported by local businesses.

Plant sales:  Most of the gardens are offering extras - plant sales, refreshments

Cost:  6.00 per day, or both days 10.00, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  Tickets and a map will be available at the Cancer Research shop, Market Street, and also at several businesses in the town.

Directions:  Marple is situated very close to the Cheshire/Derbyshire border A626 from Stockport (5 miles) will bring you to Marple. 1.5miles from Marple south and east is New Mills Derbyshire.
