This event is resting for 2021
Sorry, but North Dalton Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
North Dalton, Yorkshire
10.00am to 4.00pm
North Dalton is a pretty East Yorkshire village which is holding its second Open Gardens event.
There will be a number of gardens to see including a walled garden at the local manor house, an artistic courtyard garden in an old chapel and a range of beautiful vegetable and flower gardens of all shapes and sizes. Alongside the varied gardens there will be several stalls run by villagers selling Pimm's and strawberries, second-hand books, tea, cakes and ice creams.
We will also have musicians playing around the village, including a mini organ and cello concert in our beautiful little Norman church set in the heart of North Dalton.
In the village we have a beautiful natural pond full of wildlife and a children's playground, so bring the whole family.
All proceeds will go to the North Dalton Community Playground and Orchard Fund.
Plant sales: Mires Beck Nursery will have a plant stall at the village hall with lots of lovely plants to buy for your own garden.
Cost: £6.00 per adult which includes a cup of tea and a cake. Accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Buy tickets from the Village Hall on the day.
