Luckington Open Gardens

Please note
This event ran in 2021 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.

approx 12 gardens opened Luckington, near Sherston, Wiltshire
Sunday 20th June 2021
2.00pm to 5.30pm

Village gardens of all shapes and sizes will be open. Last run in 2018, this year it will be a great family day out for Father's Day. Why not treat Dad to lunch or afternoon refreshments in the pub garden?

Our village has plenty to make a visit worthwhile. Its church dates back to c1200. There are numerous Grade I and II listed buildings including Bridges Court, former home of Sir Stewart Menzies, Head of British Secret Intelligence during WW2 and Churchill's Spymaster, whose ashes are buried in Luckington Churchyard, 'God's Garden'. Please respect the privacy of the occupants of Luckington Court next door which is not open to the public.

All proceeds in support of Luckington Church.
