approx 8 gardens opened Luckington, near Chippenham, Wiltshire
Sunday 15th June 2025

Village gardens of all shapes and sizes will be open for Father’s Day this year. Our village is situated in a Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has plenty to make a visit worthwhile.

Our church is Grade I listed and has been used for filming both Pride and Prejudice and series 3 of Sanditon by Jane Austen.

A famous former Luckington resident, Sir Stewart Menzies, former Head of the British Secret Service is buried in our churchyard. The author Ian Fleming based his character “M” in his James Bond novels on Menzies.

There is a friendly village pub which serves Sunday roasts. The village also has a well-equipped play area for children and a large playing field with picnic benches.
